BlackBird – JavaScript logging tool

If you ever created a script with JS, you probably know how painful logging messages with alert() function is. Not only you can see one message at the time but also you need to click OK button to go further. I think this is the reason why Scott Olson created BlackBird project. As you can see on the screenshoot, this project is not only useful but also looks great.

PHP, JSON and JavaScript usage

Today i want to introduce you to jSON (JavaScript Object Notation), in short, it is a simple format designed to exchange data between different programming languages. I will show you how to create JavaScript object, convert it to JSON string, and send to PHP script, which will decode jSON string to readable format (for PHP). But that’s not all, PHP script will create it’s own data object encode it to jSON string and send it back. All communication between JavaScript and PHP will be done thru AJAX. Your very first AJAX web application

Let me explain why i selected such title. When writing AJAX scripts there is a part of code that always have to be included, it is pretty much like DOCTYPE in html, you do not have to understand it, just copy and paste, more over our code will be a function which takes no parameters and only returns one as XMLHttpRequest.
