In the last post i said that there are not so much new articles because i lost my database (or rather my hosting company lost it) and i had to use 2 months old backup. Well it’s true but only part of it. The other part of the story is that i did not published new articles because i was busy working on my new project – best shopping deals search engine.
It’s not yet done, however i wanted to already launch as a beta version and get some feedback from visitors. Obviously it’s not yet done so i will have to put some work into the website, to make it at least good.
About the site. Well basically it is deals search engine, as for now it only searches BestBuy.com, but i am planning to expand and use other big merchants, the difference between my site and big price comparison services is that my website (FlockSale.com) focuses on sales from big merchants, while price comparison websites focus on many small merchants. Also unique feature on the FlockSale are tagged deals inspired by WordPress.com tags. Where you can see which topic (in my case group of products) are most popular. Additionally you can filter results and quickly browse related tags – this is the feature i like most so check it out!
I also plan on adding additional features to FlockSale but as for now this is confidential what they will be.
